1. If you feel so inclined to stick an appendage in the air it should be either exquisite or absolutely pedestrian. There is no place for this random kicking that is so unpleasant for an audience.
2. Expressionless post-modern dance has been most unkind to many a young dancer. They are left looking completely bored, or more often, as if they have no actual control over the muscles of their face.
